Beacon Optimization Methodology

A deterministic, versioned framework built around bounded evidence, explicit limitations, deliberate approvals, and before-and-after proof.

Last updated: July 31, 2026

What is measured

Verified readiness across technical discoverability, entity clarity, answer readiness, authority and evidence, citation readiness, and relationship visibility.

Scoring

Supported dimensions are weighted 20%, 20%, 20%, 15%, 15%, and 10%. Unavailable dimensions are excluded, never replaced with zero.

Evidence requirements

No numeric score appears without sufficient supporting observations. Coverage and the last calculation time remain visible.

Confidence and freshness

Confidence reflects evidence quality and limitations. Stale evidence is identified and does not silently support a current conclusion.

Observation and inference

An observation records what was found. A bounded inference is labeled separately and must link to its supporting observations.

Verification

Completed work is not a verified improvement. Post-change evidence must be collected and compared with the baseline.

What is not promised

The methodology does not predict or guarantee rankings, AI recommendations, citations, traffic, leads, revenue, or commercial outcomes.
